The fruitweb SC is a weather station that has been optimized for use in scab and pest prediction. It is equipped with a cell phone modem and can therefore be set up wherever there is cell phone reception. Data is transferred once a minute directly to the fruitweb server.

Each fruitweb station is supplied with a SIM card for data transmission. This incurs costs of € 71.40 / year (including VAT). This includes data transfer from station to fruitwebserver, data retrieval and the use of the fruitweb weather data service.
